Hummus

Serving Size: Makes one big bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas-drained

  • 2 large cloves garlic-crushed

  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin

  • 1/4 teaspoon chilli powder

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1/2 cup natural unsweetened yoghurt

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to season

Method

  1. Blend all the ingredients together until smooth in a food processor or blender

  2. Refrigerate until needed

  3. Serve with sliced vegetables, corn chips or your preferred crackers
